FPV Drone - Release and Drop device

Integration with Drone System:

• Power: The device typically draws power directly from the drone's flight battery (e.g., 5V or 12V DC), often through a BEC (Battery Eliminator Circuit) or a dedicated power output on the flight controller.
• Control Signal: The servo or solenoid is connected to a spare PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) output on the drone's flight controller (e.g., Betaflight, ArduPilot, iNav). The flight controller then translates the pilot's radio command into the appropriate signal to trigger the release.
• Software Configuration: The pilot needs to configure their flight controller firmware to assign a specific auxiliary channel to control the release mechanism.

Design Considerations for FPV Use:

• Lightweight: Given the performance-oriented nature of FPV drones, the device itself must be as light as possible to minimize impact on flight characteristics and battery life.
• Compact Size: It should be small enough not to interfere with propellers, landing gear, or other drone components, and to maintain the drone's aerodynamic profile.
• Durability: Built to withstand the rigors of drone flight, including potential hard landings or minor crashes.
• Minimal Drag: Aerodynamic design is preferred to reduce air resistance.
